My Kampung Life is a unique 2-acre permaculture farm located about a little more than 1 hour drive away from Kuala Lumpur, at a quaint little town of Lenggeng, Negeri Sembilan. It is a long term project that serves to demonstrate just how much technical limits and budget can be pushed to realise the dream of living a near-sustainable livelihood for a small family. This interesting project aims to explore the possibility of realistically leaving the rat race in the city to pursue a simple and rural life.

This is a major consultancy and implementation project of a site that also serves as the head quarter of Soilogy. My Kampung Life is an active permaculture farm teeming with endless on-site limitations that pose great challenges for the Soilogy team to overcome. The client wishes to achieve a mature and stable ecosystem that break evens at 4 years and hopefully profitable in 6 years time. This should be at least on track first with the establishment of food source and fodder at the second year mark before the introduction of animal systems.
